About US - Shewe Wanna Suite Resort

Shewe Wana Boutique Resort and Spa is lavishly set in the Thai-Colonial styled habitat surrounding by shady trees, which provide relaxation and tranquillity in the heart of Chiang Mai city centre. The two-storey building was built in u-shape since 1931. It was originally run as a farm crop distribution centre but later transformed to a hotel when the individual took over from a government enterprise.

Mr. Sorapong Taweesombut, the architect, remains the structure of the building as its original. He combines the idea of "return to nature" by adapting five colours; blue, gold, green, red and white in Feng Shui (Chinese Belief) to his hotel logo design. To his concept, each colour has its own meaning; the blue lines represent river, the flow of life, gold circle symbolizes prosperity while green leafs refer to nature of life.

Two types of accommodation are available at Shewe Wana Boutique Resort and Spa & Shewe Wana Suite and Royal Suite. All rooms are furnished with wooden furniture with either a queen-size bed or twin beds, refrigerator, satellite television and DVD player. Guests can access to internet at all time as the resort provides wireless internet in room. Each room has a living room and private balcony. Jacuzzi bathtub is also available in the spacious bathroom with Thai herbal toiletries to nourish guests' relaxing atmosphere.
